GreenRoad VideoSense Pro™ Installation
GreenRoad VideoSense Pro™ provides video documentation for safety events and detects ADAS and driver behavior events. For a detailed explanation of its functionality specifications, please see VideoSense Pro™ in the Tutorial section of the Help Center.

The C6DAI device kit contains:

The installation process requires a local connection to the device using either an application on a mobile device or a web interface on a PC

Note: The connection to the device can be done only after it is connected to a power supply, with the LED panel displaying a blinking green light

Connection to the device is via WiFi and full instructions will be provided during the installation training with your team

ADAS Unit Installation:
The C6D ADAS device is already attached with the security screw. Make sure the screw is tight.
The ADAS device should be mounted on the middle of the windshield, with the lens within the wiper sweep area. The lens should be 51 to 110 inches (130-280 cm) from the ground.

Connect Vehicle Power and Turn Signals:
The device is connected to a permanent live feed, a switched ignition live feed and a negative return. In addition, direct connection to the left and right turn signal feed is required to correctly operate the ‘Lane Departure’ functionality

Verification of the correct forward camera alignment is achieved using the installation software. The camera is mounted centrally within swept area of the wipers. The height of the mounted camera must be recorded as this is used in the calibration process. The angle of the camera is then adjusted to a point 20m in front of the vehicle and then secured by tightening the screw.

Once the installation is verified, the software settings are finalised
DSM Camera Installation:
The DSM camera should be installed on the A-pillar on the driver side of the vehicle for best performance.
The camera needs to be positioned in such way that it can capture the driver's face in the centre of the image, with both eyes visible, looking at the driver from below.

The DMS device must be connected to the main ADAS unit using an HSD cable.

DMS Camera Calibration:

The DSM mounting bracket provides the option to rotate the camera in multiple directions to achieve the required driver view. When correctly aligned, the driver image must be central with an unobstructed view of the drivers face and eyes. The DSM camera can then be calibrated.

The R-Watch should be placed on the dashboard. Its location can vary based on driver preference.

Post Installation Testing:
The final part of the installation is a full system test. This process must be completed to verify the installation and operational functionality before leaving the vehicle. Full details of how to conduct this test is provided during the installation training.
